Went here for a couple drinks with my Friends. It was a good atmosphere and beers were nice and fizzy. Little bit on the expensive side but sorted me right out. My CruzCampo was £5.30. Thanks to the staff for having us.

Good local pub. Friendly atmosphere and for a place that a lot of students go to I cannot blame the prices! Very reasonable. I went to the quiz once or twice before and it was very fun - I would recomend coming early to secure a seat or table. The outside is also really cosy at the back. Just a very lovely place!

Nostalgia just isn't what it used to be... or so it seems. Returning for a whistlestop tour of where I was 50 years ago this month. Some have been flattened, some have changed... but The Friendship Inn is still there in Fallowfield, Manchester. Still serving a good punt of Hydes Original Anvil Ales. The inside has undergone some refurbishment creating more space... or is this the Tardis in disguise

Brought Paulicarus to The Friendship as this was our local from 1977 - 1982. In 1978 a pint + Cinzano and lemonade was 48p. On New Years Day 1980 lunchtime 60 cm of snow fell ... the heaviest snow fall I ever saw in 3 hours. Joked we were snowed in! We lived round the corner next door to a lot of the staff. We held lots of after pub parties with them. Most of their pint pots ended up in our flat! Only been back a couple of times in 42 years. Very vibrant Hydes pub. Good outdoor patio seating. Met my in-laws on said patio. Good pint of Hopster and a rosé wine but more than 48p. Lots if extentions in 45 years. Now open plan so the backroom probably no longer win evety football card. Lots of locals in as City on TV..probably still gets lots of students in term time.

It was my Mum's 90th last Sunday, also my first granddaughter was born the day before making it a double celebration. My family & I had a great time, the food, drinks, service & atmosphere was top notch. The prices are more than reasonable too. My Daughter & I just love older buildings, in particular tudor which is what the Friendship Inn is. The interior is very welcoming, comforting, felt so comfortable the minute we walked through the doors & also the interior still retains the charm of year's gone by which is much valued & appreciated as this makes it more down to earth. Please don't change anything about the pub. Regards Caroline.
